Cazorla coming

Arsenal transfer target Santi Cazorla is expected to sign at the Emirates within the next few days with reports emerging that Arsene Wenger is keen to wrap up a deal with the talented midfielder. The Malaga midfielder who is believed to want out of the club due to escalating problems with player wages and not being paid by the Spanish club is rumored to cost Arsenal around £15 million, though Malaga will most likely want around £20 million for the player.

The Gunners were beaten to the Spanish midfielder last season by Qatari Sheik Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Thani, who had recently bought the Spanish club, and in doing so, had seemingly lined their pockets with endless funds throughout the transfer window. Thus, for Malaga not to be paying their players—to the point that their stars want out of the club—is somewhat strange. However, it is important to note that this is a club that has been given an ultimatum to clear their debts, or be relegated.

As a result of their massive debts, Malaga have been given until the end of the month to clear them or face relegation for the upcoming season. That would relegate them to the Spanish second division, but it would also cost them their UEFA license and Champions League expulsion—which in itself would surely cost the club millions upon millions. This could mean that Arsene Wenger can get the starlet for a bargain as he likes. So Emirates can now prepare for the welcome of this player as the deal looks certain and the odds are against them.

The 27-year-old, who was part of Spain's recent win at the 2012 European Championships, would be an excellent addition to the Gunners' midfield next season and would boost the impact of new recruits Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud.

Arsenal scrape past Malaysia XI with late goals

Azmi Muslim stunned the Gunners with a 25-yard thunderbolt in first-half stoppage-time, but the hosts could not hold onto their lead and saw Thomas Eisfeld and Chuks Aneke net in the closing stages.Arsenal were a long way short of their best during the opening 45 minutes and found themselves behind at the interval as Muslim lashed the ball into the top corner past a helpless Vito Manone.

It appeared as though the Malaysians would claim a notable scalp as the clock ticked down, but Eisfeld stepped off the bench to level the scores on 87 minutes. With the hosts visibly drain ed, Aneke claimed victory for the Gunners in the final minute as he bundled his way into the box and found the back of the net via the aid of a deflection.

Careless

With wantaway captain Robin van Persie one of several first-team players left to work on pre-season training back in England, centre-half Thomas Vermaelen skippered a Gunners side which included Abou Diaby and Mikel Arteta in central midfield, while Marouane Chamakh led the attack.Arsenal started brightly, with Gervinho looking lively down the left. However, the Gunners were also careless in possession, as Norshahrul Idlan Talaha fired wide.

Diaby, fit again following just a handful of appearances last season, released Chamakh, whose angled shot was well saved. In the 21st minute Arsenal number three goalkeeper Mannone had to be alert to push behind a free-kick from Mohd Safiq Rahim. As the half-hour passed, full-back Andre Santos blasted wide after good work from Chamakh and the Brazilian then saw his close-range effort saved.

At the other end, Mannone stood up well at his near post to beat away a fierce angled drive from Mohd Mohd Sali. However, the Italian, who took in a loan spell with Hull City last season, could do nothing when a long-range left-foot shot from Muslim flew past him in stoppage time to the delight of the home crowd.

Changes

Arsenal made the expected sweeping changes at the break, and substitute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, back in action after Euro 2012 duty with England, had an early run at the Malaysia defense.

Malaysia midfielder Gary Steven Robbat let fly from 30 yards, but was off target.Young Gunners forward Benik Afobe latched onto a quick free-kick from Ryo Miyaichi and struck the post, but the flag was up for offside.

On the hour, Malaysia forward Sali burst clear and cut back inside, but his shot was straight at Mannone.Afobe, who had a short loan spell at Reading last season following a long injury lay-off, should have leveled when he went through, but could not beat the Malaysia keeper. The Gunners finally equalized with three minutes left when Eisfeld fired home after good work down the right by Nico Yennaris, and then snatched what had looked an unlikely victory when Aneke's shot was deflected past goalkeeper Mohd Marlias.

Arsenal now head to Beijing, where they will play Premier League champions Manchester City in the Bird's Nest Stadium on Friday

Spanish International keen on Arsenal switch

Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Spain's Santi Cazorla after the maestro agreed terms with the club.
The versatile Malaga man looks set to complete a move to north London in the coming weeks, a year after first being pursued by Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners have tabled a bid of around £15.6million for one of La Liga's brightest talents and hope that any deal can be concluded swiftly considering the player's desire to move.

Cazorla joined Malaga last summer from Villarreal - who were subsequently relegated - but has been in dispute with the club over unpaid wages.
The financial situation is such that the threat of relegation looms over the Arab-owned club with a hefty tax bill owed to the Spanish government, as well as a number of unfulfilled obligations on transfer repayments.
And now The Guardian claim the 27-year-old will be the first of the big names out the door to help cover costs.
Cazorla, who scored four freekicks last season, played in almost every position across the midfield and attack, and would be the third addition to the forward ranks this summer, after Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud.
Wenger reportedly had Cazorla earmarked as a replacement for Cesc Fabregas last summer before he joined Malaga.
Meanwhile in another boost to Arsenal, Laurent Koscielny has signed a new long-term deal with the club.

Another Arsenal Rumour

Now is the time for the Gunners if they hope to pull in another solid transfer name,
since many other clubs (Manchester United and Chelsea, to name a few) have added
solid names like Shinji Kagawa and Eden Hazard to their squads. Tottenham Hotspur is
making a move for Jose Salomon Rondon, so the Arsenal need to act quickly.
Arsenal has been rumored to be in the running for Malaga striker Rondon, even
after manager Arsene Wegner signed French forward Oliver Giroud for a transfer fee of
£13 million. Obviously, with that signing, Wegner needs to be a little more careful about
who to bring on. But with Giroud now on the squad, why do the Gunners need Rondon?
It's simple. The 22-year-old striker has barely started entering his prime and could
spell doom and gloom for opposing Premier League squads if the Arsenal succeed in
bringing him on board. Arsenal are willing to offer Rondon €18 million to play for them.
That seems a hefty price for another forward, but it could pay dividends in the future.
Rondon has scored 27 goals in his past two seasons in La Liga. The only downside to a
deal with Rondon would be Chelsea's interest in the Venezuelan star. If a bidding war
erupts, the price may become too heavy for the Gunners.
Last season alone, Rondon scored 11 goals for Malaga and qualified them for the
Champions League. And with interest from so many Premier League teams, Arsenal
should stay in the ring.Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly willing to let Giovanni dos Santos
go the other way in a potential signing of the Venezuelan star.
The club might be moving away from a deal with Rondon, with reported interest now
growing in Paulinho and French star M'Baye Niang. But they could do much worse than
Jose Salomon Rondon.I just cannot understand why Arsenal has to settle with the average
players.First we keep an eye on Oscar then we findout Chelsea  is  after the starlet so we
give up then we go for Ganso but again news comes in that some other team is after the
player and so we back out again and bid for Paulinho and the fans are expected to make
peace with it.This is a serious problem. Why are we so afraid of a bidding war?I am not
saying go for all the players and go bankrupt but at least get hold of atleast 1 or 2 marquee
players which we desperately need.
Financially weaker teams than us like Liverpool and even Tottenham are spending
and are going for the big players. Then why can't we when we are financially stable right
now.The board can't expect titles without proper investment.Since many years now Arsenal
have been losing their best players and the have been replaced by mediocre ones.It is the
genius of Arsene Wenger that we have managed to stay in top 4 in all the seasons and have
been competing if not winning for the trophies.

Dutch ace sets his heart on Old Lady

The negotiations over Robin van Persie's future have been complicated by the Dutch striker indicating to Arsenal that his first choice of the three clubs pursuing him is Juventus.

Van Persie has not ruled out the possibility of going to one of the two Manchester clubs, and his first choice from those two would be United, but if possible he would prefer to go to the Italian champions.

Of the three, Juventus are the least financially powerful, but in an ideal world the player would rather leave the Premier League than play for one of Arsenal's rivals.

Negotiations to sell Van Persie are expected to develop this week, with the player's representatives keen to move the situation along.

The club have been told that it is Juventus Van Persie would prefer to join, and it is Arsene Wenger's preference that he would not go to Manchester City, but there are serious doubts over whether the Italians could come up with a deal acceptable to Arsenal.

The asking price is thought to be between £20m and £25m, with Van Persie seeking a five-year contract worth in excess of £120,000 a week.

Both the player and the club are agreed that any deal will not hinge on a question of money for Van Persie -- if it did he is well aware that his best option would be City -- although it does now appear to come down to whether Juventus can formulate a deal.

Juventus had been favourites to sign Napoli striker Edinson Cavani this summer but have not yet done so.

The club are still recovering financially from their demotion to Serie B after the 2006 calciopoli scandal, and posted losses in their last published accounts of £75m for the 2010-11 season.

Like all leading European clubs, they are also trying to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations. At 29 years old, with a less-than-perfect injury record and the prospect that he will be a free agent next summer, Van Persie, for all his qualities, is not a simple player to arrive at a price for.
There has been a significant discrepancy on assessing what he is worth between the interested clubs.

Outmuscled
United would like to do a deal for the player but they are aware that they are always likely to be outmuscled on the question of price by City, if it comes to that.

City have stayed in touch over Van Persie, despite knowing they are third in his pecking order. Both clubs are obliged to wait to see whether Juventus can come up with the kind of package that would convince Arsenal to do the deal.

The Gunners leave for Malaysia on Saturday, arriving on Sunday ahead of the first game of their three-match pre-season tour of Asia, a week today against a select Malaysian XI.

It is agreed that it would be best for Van Persie and the club were there to be some resolution on his future by then, in light of his statement on July 5 that he would not be signing a new contract at the club.

Walcott threatens Arsenal with existential crisis

Of course I’m going to miss the fans, the manager, and the staff were fantastic and helped me along but I was given the opportunity to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world and it’s one of them that I couldn’t turn down, you know?

That’s Ashley Young in an interview after signing for Manchester United from Aston Villa. His “thanks” is delivered with the exact amount of flat, unaffected, emotionlessness one would expect from any perfunctory statement. “So long, thanks for all the fish, I can’t wait to play with Wayne Rooney.”

When it happens to Aston Villa we all say that it’s only natural: they are a feeder club who haven’t won anything significant since the 1980s. But when it happens to Arsenal (in the minds of Arsenal fans) it’s because the player is greedy, the board is failing miserably, or the manager is out of touch. And if Theo Walcott jumps ship after the career he’s had at the club, to go play for Liverpool, I might have to reassess whether or not Arsenal aren’t just being used as a training ground.

In many ways, Theo represents Arsene Wenger’s dreams. He’s a young, English player, whom the Frenchman purchased on the relative cheap, and has crafted into a decent Premier League player. Theo finished the last season with 32 League starts, a career high. He also managed to finish the season with 8 goals and 8 assists which is good enough for 12th place in assists, one more than Ashley Young.

It was a pretty good season for Theo by his own measuring stick. Career highs in starts, assists, shots, and objectively one of his best seasons as a professional. But there’s a glaring problem with Theo’s numbers that doesn’t show up until you look at his whole Arsenal career.

First, he’s never been good at crossing the ball and despite having a career high number of chances this season he only connected on 18 of 134 attempted crosses. That’s 13% and he averaged just 12% the season before and we can’t say that he didn’t have a target man, Robin van Persie has been the form striker of the last 18 months. 12% is just poor. To give you some perspective, Ashley Young averages 21% on his crosses and he’s hardly the best in the League.

Second, he is routinely in the top of the League in turnovers per game. This season he was 11th in the League in that category, coughing the ball up 2.3 times per game. Turnovers are an important measurement for Theo because they are the stat which counts the number of times per game that the player simply miscontrolls the ball: unforced errors, poor touch, dribbling out of play, etc.

Both of these numbers are consistent across Theo’s career and consistently a complaint by Arsenal fans. Now at the age of 23, Theo is hardly a complete player but his passing numbers have always been some of the worst on the club and his number of successful dribbles per game hover below 1 — which is not where you’d like a wing player to be. Sessegnon had similar numbers to Theo across the board, but managed nearly twice as many successful takeons. This doesn’t mean Theo is useless, just giving you some perspective.

The number that surprised me the most, however, was 54. If you look at the number of Premier League starts that Theo has managed in his six seasons at Arsenal, the total comes to 95. Of those 95 starts 51 have come since last season and even weirder, 47 have come since January of 2010. 54% of Theo Walcott’s starts have come in he last two years, 49% in the last 18 months. And this distortion of his career numbers is true across many categories for him: 65% of his League goals and 63% of his League assists have come in the last two seasons.

As I’ve written before, there’s a similar comparison with Robin van Persie’s last 18 months at Arsenal. The Dutchman and the Englishman have both managed around 50% of their Arsenal output in the last 18 months. And they both did so after cutting off negotiations with the club over a new contract. I don’t pretend to know what’s in either player’s heart and I certainly would never say that the player was taking it easy with Arsenal for the last 4.5 years. But can it simply be coincidence that both he and Robin van Persie cut off negotiations with Arsenal 18 months ago and both go on to have a career season?

And worse, what is Arsenal supposed to do? There’s a lot of handwringing over the club “letting their contracts run down” but what would you have done with a player like Theo who 18 months ago had never managed more than 16 League starts in a season and for whom consistency was an apparition? Hand him a bumper deal? I wouldn’t have.

In the end, if Theo wants to leave after everything that the club has done for him and wants to go to Liverpool of all clubs then it makes me wonder about his character but also the nature of Arsenal as a club. Because unlike Robin, for whom the case could be made that he was one of Arsenal’s best players over the last 6 years, there are no such plaudits for Theo. And unlike Robin who can at least hide behind the hobgoblin of “seeking a move to win trophies” Theo going to Liverpool is certainly not about that.

As for what Arsenal have become, I think Arsene’s grand plan of bringing in youth players and building up their loyalty as they forge a core of champions for years to come, a sort of Golden Generation, would take its death blow with Theo leaving. The idea was two-pronged: get a core of players to develop together and pay them well in their youth so that they will be loyal later. Cesc, Theo, Song, and Robin did develop together and are arguable three of the best players in the world in their respective positions. They should be challenging for the League title season after season together from here on out. But what happened is that we found out you can’t buy loyalty because someone can always come along and pay more — and whether that’s in gold, silverware, or shared DNA, it’s a form of payment.

So, what is Arsenal now? Are we a feeder club to Man City? A creche for foreign players to develop their talent in and then return home? A club which is a stepping stone to Liverpool? And what happens when Wilshere is fully developed? The Ox?

I can’t really tell, but I think the key thing is for Arsenal to replace Theo with someone better — which even given his mediocre numbers, history of injury, and poor touch, is easier said than done.

Arsenal linked to yet another midfield maestro

After missing out on acquiring Oscar's signature Wenger has reportedly turned his attention to Paulo Henrique Ganso. The 22 year old Brazilian attacking midfielder who plays for Santos can give a new dimension to the attacking third to Arsenal.

Arsenal are now emerging as serious contenders for this highly rated midfield maestro.Ganso's representatives have been made aware of Gunners' interest in their client and are awaiting the next move from the North London club.

Sportsmail has learned the Gunners were interested in signing Chelsea-bound Oscar - but Wenger is now primed to turn his attentions to 22-year-old Ganso. The Brazilian - who has eight international caps - is one of the hottest prospects in world football and has been linked with AC Milan, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Afellay there for taking

Latest reports suggest that Barcelona has freed their young Dutch winger Ibrahim Afellay.Arsenal has been keeping an eye on this starlet since a long time now.So he is there for the taking.

According to sources, Afellay is surplus to requirements at Barcelona and a move to the premier league is very possible. Afellay's agent has been told his client has no room in the Spanish side.

Arsenal were interested in signing Afellay last summer but could not match Barcelona as the LaLiga team went on to buy the youngster. Afellay should cost Arsenal about £4.75 million to bring to the Emirates .

Now if Wenger brings him at the Emirates this summer he may convince his patriot RVP to stay and renew contract with Arsenal.Hoping for the best fingers crossed.

Arsenal linked to yet another striker

Its maybe yet another rumour like other millions which we get to hear everyday which suggests Arsenal apparently have shown interest in signing Newcastle forward Demba Ba.Just like we have been linked with Cavani,Llorente,Mata,Hazard,Goetze and many others.Arsenal is always linked with almost all the big players available and end up signing none because there some or the other club always is willing to pay more than the jack***es of our club sitting in their royal leather chairs. This has been happening since many years now.Arsene Wenger is always the first to spot young talent and everyone is ready to pounce on that target of ours.Mata and Hazard are the perfect examples of this.Chelsea snatched away these prime Arsenal targets with their money power whom Arsene had been following for a very log time.

Just about every top 10 club in the Premiership seems to be interested in Newcastle striker Demba Ba this Summer, as a release clause in his contract prompts constant speculation over the prolific striker’s future.Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea are all reported to be sniffing around the 27-year-old Senegalese striker, whose 16 goals in his debut season on Tyneside after his 2011 transfer from West Ham saw the Toons finish in a brilliant fifth place.

However, Alan Pardew is desperate to keep hold of the tall target-man, whose goals with both head and boot kept on flowing, especially during the first half of the season. His month long absence due to the African Cup of Nations makes his final goal tally all the more impressive.Peculiarly, it has emerged that Ba has a release contract in his clause for just £7, a huge reduction in his actual value, which has prompted the wild speculation raining down on St. James’s Park this Summer.

It has been stipulated in some media circles that this clause is only valid between 31 May and 31 July, before he goes back to his original price, which if true will surely cause a mad rush for his signature, and perhaps a return to London. Chelsea are actively looking for a powerhouse to replace Didier Drogba.Well I would say we should buy him as he is a proven Premier League goalscorer or some other proven goal machine as RVP is going to leave tomorrow if not today but our cheap board seems to be contented with a Ligue 1 striker,a BundesLiga striker who will be utilized on the flanks and a good for nothing striker. And I am sure that even if we try to acquire him some other club will outbid us so back to square one.Seriously for how long are we fans supposed to settle for mediocrity!!!

Finally something to cheer for

Last season being the 125th year of our Arsenal F.C since its foundation in 1886 saw the ticket prices shoot up and reach the skies.Mr. Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis took it as an opportunity to raise more money for him, Hill-wood and Kroenke(the 3 a**holes running our club) and hence all the merchandise prices were up as well. But it was commendable how the Arsenal fans still continued to show support for the club attending every match week in week out despite of all the gloom that had covered  the North London skies at the start of the last campaign.

Finally the ticket prices have gone down but the case only holds for the non-season ticket holders for only half a season.Ticket prices for 'A' category games, of which there are two before the end of the year against Chelsea and Tottenham, will be on average £62, an increase of 23%.However, the top price of £126 will apply to around only 1% of available tickets in the 'A' band. The regrading of games into 'A', 'B' and 'C' categories will create approximately 90,000 lower-priced tickets for non season-ticket holders during the season.Prices in the 'C' band will be on average 28% lower than last season's equivalents with tickets against Sunderland on August 18 down to £25.50 compared to £35.00 last term. The lowest priced matchday ticket for next season will be £25.50."We constantly aim to strike the right balance between offering tickets at affordable prices, while ensuring we have sufficient income to reinvest in the squad," Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis said.

Van Persie for either of Manchester clubs

Its been a while since Robin Van Persie declared his desire to not sign a new contract with Arsenal. But the saga of which club he is destined to doesn't seem to end.Manchester United,English champs Manchester City and the Serie A winners Juventus are the three leading horses in the race.

It has been confirmed that Emmanuel Adebayor who was loaned by Manchester City to Tottenham Hotspurs has  been signed by Tottenham. So now City will  be looking  for a new striker and Mancini has been eyeing Van Persie since such a long time.

Juventus had been the favorites until now but after this transfer dealing Manchester City can be said as the new favorites to sign RVP.There is a plethora of ex-Arsenal players over there who can persuade him to join them over there.Plus Man City with their wealthy Sheikh owners can easily cope up with the price tag we put on RVP.Sir Alex on the other hand seems to be on a spending spree. They have already signed Kagawa and then English starlet Nick Powell defeating us in a bidding war and may even break the bank to sign RVP with Dimitar Berbatov almost certain for United exit.So its going to be really tough but i sincerely hope that we get a good amount for him and the saga gets over soon so that we can invest the money in acquiring proper replacements in time. And I hope our manager has a plan this time and the claim that Arsenal have already bought RVP's replacement in Oliver Giroud is false. With all due respect to Giroud I want to say that he is from Ligue 1 and will take time to adjust to the fast and competitive premier league. If the claim is to be believed then we only have podolski and chamakh as his replacements and if someone is injured then we are gone.It has been the story since 6-7 years.Lack of bench strength have cost us so many times and we have kept repeating the same mistakes.I hope its different this time around.Arsenal for life!!!

Niang move almost done

Caen, 17 year forward M'Baye Niang has now been linked with Arsenal for quite sometime. Despite reluctance from Caen boss Patrice Garande the starlet looks certain for an Arsenal trial.

"What I say in relation to him is simple, he has talent - yes, does he have the potential to make a career - yes," Garande said. "But is he doing the right thing for this at the moment - no." Asked if he would be using him next season, Garande replied: "If he is here I will count on him, he leaves tomorrow we won't." Niang scored twice in 14 starts for Caen in Ligue 1 last season.

Walcott wants out as well

Walcott following RVP but Wenger has a replacement

Contract rebel Theo Walcott seems to be following RVP's footsteps as the Dutchman has made it clear about his intentions of leaving Arsenal. The 23 yr old English winger wants to move out of Emirates this summer as well. Wenger is ready to offload  the winger and a bid of 15million pounds is believed to be enough for that.Walcott had been offered a new 4 year deal worth 70,000 pounds a week but he seems to be unhappy with that and wants as much as 100,000 pounds a week and thus has emerged as the prime target for Chelsea.
Arsenal won't mind such a sale since we still  have Arshavin,Miyaichi,Gervinho,Chamberlain in our ranks but Wenger is preparing to bid for the Wigan contract rebel Victor Moses.Chelsea's bid of 4million pounds has been rejected already and the Wigan chairman Dave Whelan has stated that the 21-year old English winger will not cost any less than 10million pounds. It will be interesting if Wenger will  be ready to shell  out  that amount of money for him.
I personally feel Moses is a fantastic player.Hes got speed like Walcott and he has also got the skills  which Walcott didn't possess. He can cross, shoot and dribble well.If this deal comes through Arsenal will have a mouthwatering attack with rosicky, wilshere and song in the center podolski on the left Chamberlain or Moses on the right and Giroud or replacement of RVP the front-man.I just cannot wait for the start of the next season.I just hope this is our season and this team finally lands a trophy  after 7 long years.Come On You Gunners!!!

Usmanov in Kroenke out

We need Usmanov's money
It has been 7 years since our beloved Arsenal won its last trophy. May 2005 saw the legendary Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira lift the FA cup beating Manchester United on penalties(Last time we won a trophy). Since then we have been just trying and not winning the trophies. The champions and the Invincibles of that era have left and have been replaced by young blood. Le Prof has been criticized so many times of buying cheap and inexperienced players. But they fail to realize how Wenger has still  kept Arsenal in the champions league spot year after year when his best players kept backstabbing him and left for some other club.
Wenger is used as a scapegoat by the board. He takes blame for all the low  money transfers when the real bastards are sitting in the board room. The way our club is being run right now is horrendous. Gazidis,Hill-wood,Kroenke have absolutely no passion for football. They just want to make money out of Arsenal. And they have been successful in doing so till now. Stats show that Arsenal is 19th on the list of spending on transfers in the last few years in premier league. And amount spend is -21.3 million pounds to be precise. This means Arsenal  has gained much more money than they have spent. This comes from the sales of players like Adebayor,Toure, Gallas, Fabregas,Clichy,Nasri. These players left our club when they were in their prime and Wenger was not given proper amount of money to replace them. It is the genius of Arsene Wenger that he has still managed to create a good  team out of scarce resources and keep Arsenal in the hunt of trophies.
Another issue is our wage structure. When you see the wages that we pay to our top players as well you may think are Arsenal even a big team?No wonder our best players leave for some other club.Since the departure of David Dein the club lacks management or should I say there is no management. How many times we have seen an Arsenal target for so long go to some other club. Its because he is getting more money over there and  that club is willing to invest in  the team so a better chance to win trophies. Its all a circle. The board doesn't invest -> No huge signings ->mediocre team ->No trophies ->Best players leaving.
Alisher Usmanov-A billionaire who wants to invest in Arsenal is not allowed to hold 30% share. It just sums up  everything. Our club is being run by big fat money eating f*****g rats who just want financial success and don't give a damn about football.Usmanov is even richer than Roman Abramovich(owner of Chelsea). If he is allowed to invest then Kroenke will lose his power  and won't enjoy the profits Arsenal are giving him and  then Gazidis and Peter Hill-Wood won't get their cut.Usmanov is the solution to all our problems. He owns 18.1 billion much more than Abramovich
Here is another link of what our dear chairman Peter Hill-Wood has to say
Hope you liked  this article of mine. Please don't hesitate to comment on this if you agree with or even if you don't.Gooner for life!!!

How leaving of Van Persie will help Arsenal?

RVP should be sold for better

Its Deja Vu all over again as we are about to lose our fourth captain in 5 yrs. Thierry Henry in 2007, Gallas in 2010, Fabregas in 2011 and now RVP in 2012. It is now very clear that RVP is not willing to extend his contract and wants to play for another club as he thinks Arsenal lacks ambition. This decision has come under heavy criticism as he is betraying the club and the manager which made him what he is today. Arsene Wenger stood by him whenever he was injured or under performing and without Arsene Wenger he would not be RVP of today. All of this is true that he wants more money and trophies and he is betraying Arsenal but if he wants to leave I'd say let him. We want players who wear their hearts on their shirts not the ones who will just play because of money and he because his is made to. Keeping him against his will will be completely pointless. Plus he is going to be 29 soon and there is no way he is going to score 30 goals this season like the last one. Last season can be said as a one year wonder.
So we should sell him this summer itself as we can get a good sum from his sale and we can replace him with jovetic, llorente or lewandowski. And we would still have money to purchase a good CAM. After all he has just 1 year remaining on his contract and we all would hate it if he goes for free like Flamini. The new captain will be Thomas Vermalean which in my opinion is a much better leader than RVP. He is a true gunner and I am pretty sure that with the team right now and with a couple of additions he can lead us to trophies again. COYG!!!
