Arsenal are now emerging as serious contenders for this highly rated midfield maestro.Ganso's representatives have been made aware of Gunners' interest in their client and are awaiting the next move from the North London club.
Sportsmail has learned the Gunners were interested in signing Chelsea-bound Oscar - but Wenger is now primed to turn his attentions to 22-year-old Ganso.The Brazilian - who has eight international caps - is one of the hottest prospects in world football and has been linked with AC Milan, Chelsea and Tottenham.
